But let’s keep it real—my bed wasn’t the comfiest haven. The cleaning crew had a tendency to leave traces behind. Still, I'm down to come back for the food.

However, the AC unit blew directly onto the bed, creating an uncomfortable sleeping environment. My room felt cramped after a few nights, which isn’t unusual for Japan but may not suit everyone. While I had a great time overall, the noise from the cleaning staff starting early each morning disrupted my sleep and left me feeling a bit tired. Still, I would consider returning due to the excellent location and value.

The air conditioning was terrible. it was either too hot or too cold, rendering the room uncomfortable. I had to open the window to tolerate the heat, which resulted in constant street noise every night. Additionally, I was frustrated to find that there was only a trouser iron available, which took forever to heat up and was impractical for regular clothes.

The Apa Hotel Namba Shinsaibashi Nishi is ideally located next to Dotonbori canal, offering easy access to numerous dining options and nearby convenience stores. The check-in process was fast, and the room was impressively clean and functional, featuring a comfortable bed, ample charging points, and a large TV. Although breakfast options were limited, they were delicious, and some items changed daily, enhancing the overall experience.

The rooms are quite small, making it challenging for two guests to move around comfortably.

I loved staying here! The spot is perfect, just a short walk to Dotonbori, and the rooms are kept spotless with fresh towels daily. It’s a little tight if you're traveling with lots of luggage, but I appreciated the handy laundry facilities on-site. On the downside, the AC situation was a bit inconvenient, as it was centrally controlled and a bit too warm for my liking.

Free Wi-Fi was great, and I loved the 24-hour reception. Room was snug for two.
